A
Stasis Check identifies the existence
of abnormally corrosive conditions
while the vessel is setting idle. Readings are taken at the bonding
system,
main DC negative buss, and propulsion system (shafts, outdrives,
or
outboard motors). The stasis check is performed without activating
any of
the vessel's electrical equipment. Also checked is the marina's
shorepower
ground wiring for the existence of stay DC current at the boat's
dockside
receptacle.
This
service is intended to determine any outside influences (other boats,
marina wiring, etc.) that may be having an adverse effect on your
vessel. In
addition, this check is useful in determining the protection (or
lack there of)
being afforded by your Zincs.
A
written report is included with each Stasis Check. Documented
in the
report are the voltage readings at the time of the survey. Also
included, is
any relevant information on how to better protect your vessel, and
any
potential hazardous conditions observed during the inspection.
Price
= $150.00 for boats in the Wilmington area.
